Begin with seats and blinds

The dealer position moves one seat after each hand. The two blind positions put free chips in before the cards are dealt. Each player receives two private cards. The full game supports computer opponents and provides a free virtual-chip balance.

Use the available actions

Fold gives up the hand. Check passes when no additional chips are required. Call matches the current amount. Raise increases it. The player shows the permitted actions and sizing controls for the current situation, including all-in when supported.

Follow the four streets

The opening round takes place before community cards. The flop reveals three cards, the turn adds one, and the river adds the last. A new decision round occurs at each stage while more than one player remains. A hand can finish early if everyone else folds.

Make the best five-card hand

At showdown, use the best five cards available from your two private cards and the five community cards. You do not have to use both private cards. Identical best hands can divide the virtual pot, while all-in situations can create separate side pots.

Learn the flow before the sizing

Start by following whose turn it is, which action is available, and how many community cards are visible. These are distinct decisions from choosing a raise size. There is no turn clock forcing a quick choice, and the chips cannot be purchased or redeemed.
