Rules & game details ↓How to play
Three-Card Challenge
The full game uses free virtual chips. Any currency symbol inside a demo represents a simulated balance.
1. Place an Ante
Choose a free-chip denomination, then place an Ante. Pair Plus is an optional separate hand-value bet. Deal gives three cards each to you and the dealer.
2. Choose Play or Fold
After reading your three cards, choose Play to add an amount equal to the Ante, or Fold to give up the Ante. The dealer reveals its three cards to resolve a continued hand.
3. Use three-card rankings
A straight ranks above a flush in this three-card game. The dealer needs queen-high or better to qualify. Inspect the table for Ante bonuses and the separate Pair Plus payout schedule.
About this version
DiceGem calls this game Three-Card Challenge. It is a dealer-based three-card poker practice game with its own interface and virtual-chip paytables. It is separate from a five-card draw or a multiplayer poker table.
Something to try
Read the straight and flush order before choosing a hand. Three-card rankings differ from the five-card rankings used in Texas Hold’em.
Does a straight beat a flush in three-card poker?
In this version, yes. The straight is above the flush. Check the hand-ranking panel in Three-Card Challenge rather than applying five-card poker rankings.
Do I need an account to play?
No. The game opens on this page without a player login. Casino chips are virtual and cannot be purchased or redeemed.
