Rules & game details ↓How to play
Pontoon
The full game uses free virtual chips. Any currency symbol inside a demo represents a simulated balance.
1. Deal a free-chip hand
Place a stake and deal. This six-deck twenty-one variant has different rules from the standard blackjack table, including tied totals losing to the dealer.
2. Build a legal hand
You cannot stand below 15. The game supports doubling on two, three, or four cards and splitting up to four hands under its rules. The dealer hits soft 17.
3. Compare special hands
A pontoon and a qualifying five-card trick pay 2:1 in this version. Read their priority over ordinary totals. The table does not offer insurance or surrender.
About this version
This is DiceGem’s Pontoon card game. The name here means the twenty-one card variant, not a boat game. Its five-card trick, stand minimum, and losing ties distinguish it from the site’s standard blackjack game.
Something to try
Check the five-card-trick condition before deciding how to finish a low total. The number of cards can matter as well as the total.
Can I stand below 15 in Pontoon?
No. This version requires at least 15 before standing. Use the available Hit or Double choices while following the table’s rules.
Do I need an account to play?
